David Ignatius, a columnist for The Washington Post, has covered the CIA and the Middle East for 25 years, serving at various times as a reporter, foreign correspondent, editor, and columnist. He has published articles in Foreign Affairs, The New York Times Magazine, Atlantic Monthly, The New Republic, and The Washington Monthly. The author of six novels, his most recent is Body of Lies (W. W. Norton, 2007). He lives in Washington, D.C.
