Author, storyteller, singer and songwriter John McCutcheon is the recipient of several awards and honors. His 29 recordings have garnered five consecutive Grammy nominations, and he has produced more than twenty albums by other artists, from traditional fiddlers to contemporary singer-songwriters. He has received three Parent’s Choice Gold Medals and honors from both American Libraries and Parenting magazines. His most recent book is Christmas in the Trenches (Peachtree Publishers, 2006). He lives in Virginia.
