Bobbie Ann Mason is the best-selling author of In Country, Feather Crowns, and  Shiloh and Other Stories, which won the Pen/Hemingway Award. She was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, the American Book Award and PEN/Faulkner award. Her memoir, Clear Springs, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Her most recent book is An Atomic Romance (Random House, 2005). She lives in Kentucky.
