Author Biography

Anna Quindlen

Anna Quindlen

Anna Quindlen is the author of several best-selling novels including Black and Blue (1998) and Blessings: A Novel (2002); and collections of essays including Loud and Clear (2004). She is the winner of the Pulitzer Prize (1992) for her New York Times column “Public and Private.” Her latest book, a travel memoir, is Imagined London: A Tour of the World’s Greatest Fictional City (National Geographic Directions series, 2004). Currently a columnist for Newsweek, Ms. Quindlen lives in New York City.
