Julie Sussman and Stephanie Glakas-Tenet, authors of Dare To Repair (HarperResource, 2002), learned their way around the toolbox and taught themselves home repair because their busy husbands were hardly ever home. Julie Sussman, the mother of two and wife of a CIA employee, is pursuing a freelance writing career. Stephanie Glakas-Tenet, wife of CIA Director George Tenet and mother of one son, provides family advocacy support to CIA families around the world. Both authors live in the Washington, D.C. area.
