Michael Beschloss

Michael Beschloss

Historian Michael Beschloss is the author of seven books covering multiple aspects of American presidential history. His most recent book is The Conquerors: Roosevelt, Truman and the Destruction of Hitler's Germany (Simon & Schuster, 2002). Currently, he is working on a history of Abraham Lincoln's last days and assassination. Mr. Beschloss is also a regular news analyst on PBS's The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and a contributor to ABC News. He lives in the District of Columbia.
