Norman Bridwell

Norman Bridwell

Norman Bridwell began drawing at an early age and was eventually able to turn that love into the creation of Clifford the Big Red Dog. Now more than 80 Clifford books have been published, close to 100 million books are in print, and Clifford's adventures are published in several languages worldwide. Clifford and the Grouchy Neighbors was named a Children's Choice Book by a joint committee of the International Reading Association and the Children's Book Council. The newest Clifford book is the deluxe anniversary edition of Clifford the Big Red Dog (Scholastic, September 2002). Mr. Bridwell lives on Martha's Vineyard.
