Using a winning combination of unusual experiences, both real and imagined, Robert McCloskey’s picture books have brought humor, wonder and delight in daily experiences to children of all ages. He has received many honors, including the Caldecott Medal for most distinguished American picture book for children for his “Make Way For Ducklings.” Other notable works include “Blueberries for Sal,” “Homer Price” and “Lentil.”
